Motorcyclist Callum Baldwin was severely injured when a van collided with him, throwing him from his motorbike.
The collision was so forceful, the parked car he was thrown under lifted up and he suffered multiple injuries including a shattered jaw.
Several of his teeth were fractured and bent out of shape and he bit straight through his tongue.
He was unable to talk or eat properly for months and had to have his jaw wired shut, leading to irreversible dental damage.
He wanted to take legal action against the van driver so he approached personal injury specialists Express Solicitors for help.
It was a solicitor in our Road Traffic Accidents department, Rachel Flannigan who took on his case and helped him through his compensation claim.
Partner in our RTA department Adele Greenough was interviewed for BBC Radio Essex about the case which you can catch up with on the BBC Sounds app and you can read Callum’s full story, including interviews with Rachel, via one of the below news links.
