Stephanie has dealt with Employer Liability claims since 2004. A number of her most recent cases include a degloving injury sustained whilst operating a faulty circular saw with no protective guard or emergency stop features, a food poisoning claim, a significant fall from a ramp which was not highlighted resulting in a fracture to both ankles and a repetitive strain injury which could have been avoided had the correct equipment been provided. Stephanie has also had a number of jobs, whilst completing her education, which has included working in factory environments, offices, public houses and construction sites. This lends Stephanie a better understanding of the roles that clients undertake during their employment.
Since qualification, Stephanie has worked in Manchester for a number of Solicitor firms. She has also previously used her experience to set up and run a department of 14 Fee Earners.
Whilst Stephanie has a great amount of experience in relation to accidents occurring overseas, these have also included significant Employer Liability cases. Stephanie routinely represents Claimants where their settlements are over £100,000.00 and has also secured damages of over half a million on a number of claims including one involving a fatality following a train derailment in India. Stephanie’s experience of dealing with these high value cases means that she has a keen eye and skill for spotting all possible heads of loss that can be considered in order to maximise damages.
Stephanie has exceptional client care skills which she uses to ensure that clients are always updated in clear, easy to understand language. She is also very organised in all aspects of her life. Clients can feel 100% confident that their files will always be progressed as efficiently as possible.

She also enjoys a challenge and often prides herself on being successful with claims where other Solicitors have failed.
Stephanie qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 after obtaining a law degree at Hull University and a commendation at York Law College for the Legal Practice Course. She has always known that she wanted a career in Law after sustaining an injury herself as a child and assisting the Solicitors during the litigation process in securing a settlement for her. This also means that she understands from personal experience, how important it is to make sure that the clients feel that they are appropriately compensated for all losses that they have sustained. Her whole education and career progression has always been designed around being a Personal Injury Solicitor, resulting in an exceptional knowledge of all technical points and ensuring that these are always used to the Client’s benefit.
