More about Alex Langston

Alex Langston is an Associate Solicitor in the Employer’s Liability department.

When asked what he enjoys most about his role at Express, Alex responded: “The tactical element of dealing with a case is something that I find interesting, especially when you are dealing with a whole plethora of insurers, brokers, or solicitors representing a Defendant! It is very satisfying to plan out what you will do in a case and for it all to come to fruition. I enjoy winning.”

Alex understands the importance of standing up for a client where someone else may have not. “I believe that having spent some time at a Defendant firm, my understanding of the claims and court processes has improved a lot. I use this “inside knowledge” to try and put myself in the position of Defendant insurers and solicitors when I am up against them, and to work out their next move, and thus to plan mine accordingly”.

Before joining Express Solicitors, Alex completed his LLB Degree at the University of Liverpool before then going on to study in Netherlands where Alex graduated from the Univeristeit Leiden with an LLM in European Law. Alex is currently studying for the LPC at the University of Law in Manchester.
