Ebony Hornby is a Solicitor in the Employer’s Liability claims department.
Ebony joined the firm in June 2019 after completing her MLAW degree at Northumbria University. Ebony started her journey at Express Solicitors as a Litigation Assistant in the Employers Liability Department and progressed through the ranks obtaining her training contract in May 2020 and since qualifying.
When asked what she enjoys most about working in the Personal Injury sector, Ebony answered: “I am passionate about helping people who have suffered injuries through no fault of their own and making a difference in their lives by assisting them with their recovery and obtaining maximum compensation for the injury they have sustained. It is important to get to know your client and understand that every client is different, with different needs and expectations, and I strive to provide each of my clients a personal experience.”
Since Ebony started working for Express Solicitors, she has received the ‘Service Hero’ award on multiple occasions. This award is provided to employees who have received positive feedback from clients about the service they have received throughout their claim.
