More about Eleanor Brickell

Eleanor is currently a Solicitor in the Occupiers’ Liability and Public Liability Department. She started at the firm in 2015 on a basic apprenticeship, with the idea to progress through the firm through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

Eleanor started in the post-room with no client contact, then progressed through working on reception and then with the New Client Team before joining her current department in 2018. As she was working in the New Client Team, a new route to qualifying as a Solicitor was created and she enrolled shortly afterwards. Eleanor qualified as a solicitor in Summer 2024.

For the last 2 years, Eleanor has been Siobhan Campbell’s Litigation Assistant. She deals with a variety of cases, from slips and trips, food poisoning, road traffic accidents, defective products and many more. She have been fortunate enough to assist Siobhan with a variety of different tasks throughout the stages of a claim. In this time, Siobhan has broadened Eleanor’s knowledge and skills in the field of personal injury law and developed a good understanding of how to run a case, including but not limited to dealing with third party insurers, instructing barristers where necessary, and obtaining medical evidence. It is very hard to briefly summarise what Eleanor does on a day to day basis as every day is so different but she absolutely loves the endless opportunities to learn and expand her skills.

She appreciates that many clients have never brought a personal injury claim before and she takes pride in her ability to make a client feel at ease with the process. Eleanor will always explain a client’s position in a way that they can understand as she believes this is key to establishing a good relationship.
