More about Laura Penny-Védrines

Laura Védrines is a Senior Associate in the Occupier’s and Public Liability department. Laura is a French lawyer who graduated from Montpellier Law School in 2013 with a BA in Public Law.

She moved to England in 2014 and started as a Paralegal working on the Mau-Mau class action against the British Government before focussing on Civil matters from 2015, representing clients injured in accidents in the UK but also abroad, with an extensive experience on Cross Border matters and higher value cases.

When asked about her career path, Laura answered : “ As a child, I was never shy of sharing views and opinions, whilst I wanted to be a lawyer and help people, I also wanted to take on the extra challenge of building my career abroad. I left France for the UK to try my luck overseas in 2014 and to this date, I still feel the same enthusiasm dealing with a case just like my first ever one 8 years ago.”

“Client care is the core of my work, I love building good relationships with my clients without complicated legal jargon. I pride myself in my approachability, honesty and determination to make their legal journey as stress free as possible, with the best possible outcome. My reward is to be able to honour the trust they place in me.”
