Notable Cases

She recently fought for a client who was riding his bicycle when a car driving in the opposite direction lost control colliding with her client and as a result, he suffered a below the knee amputation.1 year post accident he was offered £1 million settlement. Nicola rejected this offer. She instructed a case manager with a specialism in amputee cases and together they worked tirelessly on their client’s rehabilitation.

She obtained significant interim payments through contested applications to fund this. She secured adapted living accommodation and 6 different prostheses to include the battery powered Empower from USA. She took the matter to a Joint Settlement Meeting where she rejected £3.7 million. She proceeded to a mediation where she secured £4,75 million where the mediator personally commented on the excellent preparation of the case and the quality of the witness statements and evidence produced to secure this result.

Rehabilitation is always a priority for Nicki, and it is her ethos that no catastrophic injury case is successfully concluded without successful rehabilitation that drives her success.
