Tanzeela has been a member of a national mesh team, which has played a pivotal role in the national mesh litigation, advocating for hundreds of individuals suffering from negligent medical treatment involving mesh implants. As part of this team, Tanzeela has been at the forefront of handling complex claims, ensuring that victims receive the justice and compensation they deserve.

She uses her role as lead co-ordinator for the APIL Clinical Negligence Group in furthering this aim, as well as lobbying parliament and taking part in campaign activity including writing to the Health and Social Care Committee.
